Alexander Christenson was born in 1985 and raised in Palo Alto. He received degrees in Philosophy and Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University. His 2017 narrative short “This Always Happens” was featured on Vimeo Staff Picks, Nowness and Short of the Week. To date, it has over 700,000 views. In 2018 he wrote and directed the first promotional film for Leonardo DiCaprio’s environmental and social justice foundation, The Leonardo Dicaprio Foundation. This project saw Alexander writing and directing Leonardo’s narration, as well as interviewing John Kerry, Ban ki-Moon, and Van Jones. Alexander lives in Los Angeles and works directing narratives, commercials, and music videos.
