FERN.

Award-winning director, creative director, and writer Jeppe Kolstrup – born in Disko Bay, Greenland, and raised in northern Denmark – combines emotion, poetry, and humor in films and campaigns for brands including B&O, Carlsberg, The Royal Danish Ballet, Peugeot, Citroën, and Google.

Jeppe Kolstrup has a unique gift for portraying people with warmth, empathy, and humor, often through a poetic or slightly magical lens.

At twelve, he made his “debut” with the homemade horror film The Axe-Man, starring his two younger brothers and featuring a record-breaking use of ketchup as fake blood.

His short film Tropical Island received significant international attention for its honest, warm, and humorous take on the period in life when you transition from being young to becoming a mature and responsible adult. The film was Staff Picked on Vimeo and received more than 500,000 views.

Jeppe Kolstrup was previously represented by Riff Raff (UK) and New Land (Scandinavia) before starting his own production company, FERN., six years ago.

FERN. began as a creative experiment has grown into one of Scandinavia’s most respected film companies working across film, photography, and AI, and one of the very few production companies in Europe to champion an environmentally and climate-conscious production workflow.
