Rob’s work is focussed on supporting the advertising industry to direct its creativity and strategic firepower to address the climate and ecological emergency.

He is the co-founder of the Purpose Disruptors. An organisation whose vision is to reshape the industry to promote only attitudes, lifestyles, behaviours and brands aligned with a net zero world, by 2030.  He leads the #ChangeTheBrief Alliance, a partnership between agencies of every size and type (media, creative, design, PR), and their clients and media owners, learning and acting together to directly address the challenge of the climate crisis by promoting sustainable lifestyles via all of the channels available to them.

Rob was a founding member of the Advertising Association Climate Action working group which led to the development of Ad Net Zero initiative – tasked with coordinating, monitoring, reporting on and pushing forward UK industry action. He also chairs the IPA Climate Charter, which provides media agencies with the tools and resources to support their transition to a zero-carbon future.

At Mindshare he co-created Mission Zero – a cross agency group working collaboratively to bring sustainable transformation to GroupM’s clients, businesses and its people.

Rob has over 15 years experience in the industry . He studied Sustainability Management at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and is an alumni of Reclaiming Agency, a UK-based programme, designed for industry leaders to address our climate emergency.
