Originally from Yorkshire, Joe has been working in production for more than a decade having started his career in long form, working his way through the grades and production managing his first feature film in 2010.

In 2012, he moved in house to set up and EP a music video and content division at commercial production company Park Village, scouting and developing a roster of young talent and enjoying award success – on one occasion memorably winning both 1st and 2nd place in Cannes Lion Young Director Award.

In 2017, Joe moved to Boiler Room as Executive Producer.

Boiler Room began life in 2010 with a webcam taped to a wall, broadcasting from a warehouse in London – opening a keyhole to the city’s underground. As an independent music platform it remains true to that history, connecting club culture to the wider world though parties, film, video and archive.

Over the last year Joe has developed, commissioned and delivered a slate of editorial content spanning stand alone documentaries to episodic entertainment formats alongside a string of branded content campaigns.

What is preoccupying you most at present?
I’m in the process of delivering a documentary about the underground music scene in Palestine; the complexities and sensitivities of depicting a scene in which even place names are disputed are…pre-occupying.
