Cult Kits Wiseguys, The Shirt Matters Paul Kocur
Paul Kocur, one half of VCCP Blue Associate Creative Director duo Chris and Paul, turns his hand from writing funny stuff to directing funny stuff in his debut for Cult Kits, the football fashion brand known for curating one of the world’s leading collections of vintage football shirts.
Paul has won many awards for his writing, from British Arrows, to Creative Circles to D&AD Pencils. He also writes for a blog and a website, and designs t-shirts here and there
The film was made thanks to a client who was up for creating something fun yet filmic and a production company and team of people who worked effortlessly to make it happen purely out of a love for craft and ideas. It was this combination that gave me the chance to direct for the first time - something I'd long wanted to do.
