Jan Sederlöf is an ECD turned director.

He grew up dreaming of drawing Donald Duck comics.
Unfortunately, visual arts were never his forte. So he became a
copywriter – and eventually ended up making ads for Donald
Duck comics.

Isn’t it ironic? Don’t you think.

When he’s not quoting lyrics from 90’s hits and writing director
bios, he likes to brag about that time he directed his first ever
commercial, which won him a Clio Entertainment Grand Prix
(among other awards).

As demonstrated above, he is very humble and mildly allergic to corporate jargon (and some nuts). He only refers to himself in the third person when writing bios.

We wanted to speak to cinephiles in their own language — cinema. By hijacking an iconic monologue and giving it a Finnish twist, we created something that feels at once familiar and unexpected. It’s not just a trailer, it’s a love letter — and a provocation to experience movies on the big screen again.
