Exquisite Quarantine, a filmic parlour game, directed by Kinopravda, Hernan Corera, Mary Dauterman, Thomas Ralph, Robin Comisar, Andrew Nisinson, Alex Brinkman, Lisette Donkersloot, Sergi Castellà, Avtar Khalsa, Josh Borock, Fanny Hoetzeneder.
The process for creating the film was based on the exquisite corpse (or exquisite cadaver) method, originally invented as a parlor game by surrealist painters in the 1920s. Directors received only the final five seconds of the previous clip to work from in creating theirs, which they were instructed to keep to around 30 seconds. Each segment of this film was written, shot and edited within 24 hours of receiving this 5 second clip, following social distancing and all local COVID-19 safety measures. All filming took place in and around their homes in Los Angles, New York, Budapest, London, Amsterdam and Buenos Aires.
